Nobody — companies, hackers, or governments — can read or alter what you send, as long as all three of these are true:

• The key stays between you and the recipient. Anyone who gets it can read the transfer.
• Neither device has spyware — a bad browser extension, a keylogger, or other malware.
• You're actually sending to the right person, not an impostor.

You don't have to trust the servers. They see only scrambled data and a random ID — never the contents, never the key. (They can tell a transfer happened and how big it is, just not what's in it.)

Even quantum computers, as we understand them today, can't crack it.

This isn't a black box you have to trust. It's one short file you can open and read — or paste it into an AI like ChatGPT — to confirm it does exactly what this says.

For the most security: download the file and open it from your own device. Audit it yourself. Then you don't have to trust any servers at all.
